As an insulin-dependent Type-2 (T2D) diabetic my daily struggles are very similar to a Type-1 Diabetic (T1D). The biggest challenge for me and most insulin-dependent T2D diabetics is playing catch-up on diabetes education, lifestyle changes, and overall understanding of what this chronic illness means to our daily lives.
