Managing life with chronic disease or illness or as I like to call it, finding “our normal” needs to be balanced between a healthy and active lifestyle and biological and chemical support through daily medications through pills and injections, medical treatments, and good habits. My goal is for someone that does not know me to have little or no idea that I have Crohn's Disease or that I am a diabetic.
Both my Crohn's Disease and my insulin-dependant Type-2 Diabetes have their own unique treatment needs. In this section of Making You Think, we will explore life dependant on medication, medication treatment options, and more.
Mark is a foodie in training, photographer, Starbucks addict, runner, cyclist, and single parent living outside of Toronto, Ontario. Living with Crohn’s Disease and Diabetes, life for this Transportation Planner and RPP can be an interesting mix.
Making You Think blends my passions of running, cycling, photography, and inspirational thoughts with the challenges of living with chronic disease (Crohn's and Diabetes). I hope you enjoy my story.
